Is a top-notch executive with over 20 years of a wide trajectory in the environmental field in both Government and Private sectors.  His remarkable career directing divisions and government agencies distinguished for combining environmental knowledge and business acumen.  He has directed operations of up to 1,600 employees with a $72MM budget; key in achieving 30% in cost reductions through efficiencies, amended regulations to improve agency processes and services, and established alliances with external contributors.  His expertise permitted to rescue $12MM in federal funds and $400MM from the Corps of Engineers for flood control.  Daniel has been an active member of several professional associations, boards, and commissions in the environmental field and is an invited speaker for environmental-themed technical conferences.  Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science, a master’s in science (Environmental Management), and is an NREP Registered Environmental Professional, NREP Certified Environmental & Safety Compliance Officer, EPA's NPDES Permit Writer, ISA Certified Arborist, Planting & Forestation Professional, Florida Department of Environmental Protection Stormwater Inspector & Trainer, FEMA Certified Program Delivery Manager and American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
