Silkia Colón

Environmental Scientist with over 20 years of experience, organized and efficient with the ability to effectively prioritize work.  Silkia has worked conducting field assessments of potential impacts on sensitive species and plan and implement restoration techniques.  Worked on comprehensive ecosystem restoration, dune restoration, watershed restoration and reforestation, evaluating and preparing environmental assessments for local and federally funded projects. Currently working as QACQ for the CEWRY Project. Her certifications and training include DNER reforestation professional, FLSWPPP Inspector, Construction General Permit Site Inspector, OSHA Construction (30 Hours), and Biodiversity and Leadership Training from Smithsonian Institute. Holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Interamerican University, Metro Campus.
